Location : Randox Laboratories, 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QY. Contract Offered : Full-time, Permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 8.15am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm on a Friday. What does the Tenders Coordinator role involve? The role of Tenders Coordinator is key in securing business on a global basis. The successful applicant will identify suitable tenders, developing quality proposal and pretentions to identify tender opportunities. This will include: • Searching bid portals to identify potential tender opportunities. • Updating of registers, databanks, and weekly management reports. • Distributing tender details to Randox offices, distributors, and business managers. • Liaise with relevant managers and departments to coordinate, edit, format, and submit bid responses. • Follow up on bids submitted to assess successful and non-successful bids. • Maintain internal libraries and tools to aid future tenders. Who can apply? Essential criteria: • Qualified to at least A-Level standard. • Computer literate with all Microsoft packages. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Excellent organisational skills. • Keen to acquire and develop new knowledge and skills. • Strong business acumen. • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. • Strong knowledge of the tender process. • Driving Licence and access to a car, as the site is quite remote. Desirable: • Qualified to degree level. • Previous experience in a similar position. • Experience using tender portals. • Previous experience in an administration role. How do I apply? Software Test Manager
Software Test Manager – (Job Ref: 26N/SFTT) Randox Laboratories continues to develop disruptive innovations in Diagnostics and Healthcare globally. We have exciting new career opportunities for a Software Test Manager within our Engineering team. Location : Fully onsite - Randox Science Park, 30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4FL. Contract Offered : Full-time, Permanent. Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week, either 5 days, 8.40am to 5.20pm or 4 days 6.40am to 5.20pm. What does this role involve? This role is responsible for the verification of software of engineering products, as well the supervision of the software testing team. The main duties of the role include: • Liaise with Engineering and R&D teams to determine current and future test requirements to plan and coordinate resourcing for each project. • Daily supervision of the Software Test Engineering Team, including conducting appraisals and assisting in the recruitment of new staff. • Coordinate the daily activities of the Software Test Engineering Team, setting objectives and reviewing quality and performance against objectives. • Report on status of test projects to direct and senior management. • Create test strategies for standalone software products or new products containing software. • Develop the Software Test team’s understanding of software and analyser platforms to develop appropriate test protocols and broaden team expertise. • Create, locate and acquire data required for testing assignments. • Estimate Software Testing activities as required by the Project Manager. • Execute test cases on standalone software products or products containing software. • Identify and record software defects within a problem-tracking system. • Contribute to risk assessments (Hazard Analysis, FMEA) for projects under development. • Partake in reviews to determine the status of software and associated products to ensure products released by Randox have been suitably verified. • Undertake reviews of departmental practices to ensure continuous improvement of software test processes. Essential criteria: • Qualified to degree level in a software related discipline. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a Software Test environment. • Previous software management experience. • Excellent knowledge of software lifecycle and verification processes, including requirements-to-test traceability, risk-control verification, regression testing and documented objective evidence. • Experience working to strict deadlines. • Strong knowledge of both manual and automated software testing. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. Desirable criteria: • Experience working in in a regulated environment. • Experience using ALM/PLM tools to track, trace and deliver the testing of Software Requirements • Experience in the use of bug tracking software such as SpiraPlan, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr • Experience in the use of automated test software tools such as Ranorex, Playwright, Selenium, Test Complete • Knowledge of IEC 62304 software lifecycle, ISO 14971 risk management, ISO 13485 quality systems and IEC 62366-1 usability engineering or comparable standards for other regulated sectors.
