Petmania are currently recruiting for a part-time Sales Associate for our Portloise store. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail and sales and be willing and eager to make their mark in the store. In addition to this it is an advantage if you are currently studying or recently qualified in Animal Care to QQI level 5 or 6. The Petmania Store Assistant Manager is key to the smooth and successful running of a Petmania store. Working closely with the Store Manager you will learn all the skills required to become a store Manager in the future whilst being an essential part of the performance of your store. To qualify you should have at least one years experience in a Managerial role in a retail/sales setting and be passionate about encouraging people to deliver their best. You need to be curious about learning new ways of managing areas of our business that you might not be familiar with, such as our Grooming Studio, and ready to be a hands on leader on the sales floor. This is a full time role and as it's retail we trade weekends so you will be expected to be here at least one weekend day per week.
