Scheduling and Dispatch Coordinator
The Asset Operations function forms the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure.The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered. The Workflow Functional Area is responsible for the management and monitoring of all outdoor work through the full work order lifecycle from planning to closure. This includes overseeing the initiation, dispatch and progression of work orders, processing of service requests, allocating adequate resources, identification of bundling opportunities, identification of work pre-requisites, creation of work orders to be progressed and dispatched to the field , the management of the logistics and stores to enable effective and efficient inventory control, Outage notification & processing and complaint resolution. The Scheduling & Dispatch sub-area is responsible for the managing and co-ordination of scheduling, resource management and work dispatch to fulfil work completion and dispatch of work to field resources. The Scheduling and Dispatcher Coordinator is responsible for producing the schedule of activities for operations, maintenance, Capital and repair work from the scheduling tool to optimise workload, meet work priorities and resourcing constraints. This includes managing the exceptions which are not automatically planned by the advanced scheduling tool to mitigate any risk, manually scheduling as required. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Home Services Administrator
JOB SUMMARY Family Carers Ireland is recruiting a Home Services Administrator for our Home Support Services team in Area 1 – Cavan Office base. The Home Services Administrator (HSA) role will carry out office activities as required by the Home Services Manager (HSM) and Home Services Coordinator (HSC). They will also be responsible for ensuring that all administration related to the efficient running of the office is carried out in a timely and effective manner. The successful candidate should possess the following essential criteria: Must be educated to Leaving Cert level (or equivalent) and pursued further studies in Office Administration or IT. At least 2 years’ experience working within a fast pace, changing office environment is essential. Experience of staff scheduling and resource planning, preferable in a healthcare environment. Strong IT aptitude essential with advanced MS Office skills, especially in MS Word/Excel is essential. Strong Communications skills - verbal and written. Has previously worked in a highly confidential environment. Fluency in English, written and verbal. Flexibility in attitude and approach to the job. An ability to multitask and have excellent attention to detail. A willingness to learn and a desire to implement a culture of continuous improvement within their team. Shows initiative and an ability to progress workload with confidence A willingness to help other colleagues. A strong work ethic is essential. Excellent people skills with an ability to work well with others. Full drivers’ licence with access to own car. Terms & Conditions: Specified purpose contract, full time role (37 hours per week across Monday – Friday). Fisheries Officer
Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) has an exciting opportunities available for a Fisheries Officer to join our team in Letterkenny , which would be well suited to those who have an interest in protecting, managing and conserving Ireland's inland fisheries and sea angling resources. The role of Fisheries Officer is responsible for front line implementation and enforcement of the provisions of the Fisheries Acts, Water Pollution Acts, Water Framework Directive & other relevant statutory provisions, to include the provision of comprehensive conservation, protection, improvement & development services, inland and at sea. The role of a Fisheries Officer has two main areas of responsibility; GARDA VETTING Please note that the successful candidate will need to go through a Garda Vetting process and complete safeguarding training before they can take up their role.
