The Scheduled Care Officer will be responsible for supporting the Scheduled Care Managers in managing the Outpatient and Inpatient Scheduled Care function within the hospital. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the Outpatient, Inpatient/Daycase waiting list function and service operates in line with national best practice for scheduled care and maintaining throughout the Hospitals an awareness of the primacy of the patient in relation to all Hospital activities. Ensure access to services is equitable and based on clinical need. Oversee the outsourcing of patients accessing treatment via the NTPF and Access to Care. Oversee the Validation programme in SUH with regard to National Validation Targets. Ensure the development and management of waiting lists at Sligo University Hospital based on the best evidence of clinical practise, clinical effectiveness and appropriate use of resources in line with National Policies. Ensure full implementation of the National Outpatient Services Performance Improvement Programme (OSPIP) and the NTPF IDPP Protocol Manage demand and capacity requirements through maximising available capacity and outsourcing/ insourcing through NTPF and Access and Integration funding applications

Head of Medical HR, Grade VIII Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this role involves working in partnership with CHI leadership teams to drive the delivery of people plans and HR strategy in Medical HR; through the effective coordination of people, resources and talent. This includes providing strategic HR advice and guidance to internal Medical teams on strategic HR policies and procedures, to ensure they are supported in their decisions and roles as people managers, and to ensure the right people capability to deliver the required strategy and services, is supported. The role-holder will partner with key stakeholders and HR partners to map out the Medical HR and Medical Recruitment models ahead of the new hospital and plan and drive the transition. The post holder will support the Clinical Teams, Clinical Directorates and sites.
