Annual Leave Entitlement : 32 days pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: Enable Ireland delivers children’s services through the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Speech and Language Therapy services for young people (0 – 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development. This will be delivered through a family centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes and community settings. Maternity Services, University Hospital Kerry (UHK) provides Maternity, Neonatology and Gynaecology Services located on the campus of University Hospital. Kerry. UHK incorporates the Obstetric, Gynaecology, Paediatric and Neonatology Services and has a tertiary referral centre in the Cork University Maternity Hospital within the Health Service Executive South West region. UHK has approximately 1, 200 births per annum. Maternity Services at UHK are delivered within the Maternity Directorate which is based on the principles of partnership and integration and strongly supports the involvement of the multidisciplinary team in service provision. UHK is the site for clinical placements for student midwives and student nurses in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes delivered in partnership with University College Cork and with University of Limerick Maternity Services UHK incorporates the use of the MN-CMS (Maternal Newborn Clinical Management System) into care delivered. There are four Maternity Units in the South/South West Hospital Group – University Hospital Kerry, University Hospital Waterford, Cork University Maternity Hospital and South Tipperary University Hospital - spanning four of the largest counties in the country.
