Purpose of role: This is a post covering maternity leave, that will join the current team of anaesthesiologists in Crumlin At present, the consultants are providing anaesthesia cover to 8 theatres, 1 cardiac catheterisation suite, CT screening room, Nuclear Medicine and MRI. General Anaesthesiology for off-site radiotherapy in St. Luke’s (500 cases per year requiring consultant Anaesthesiologist presence) is also provided in addition to remote intrathecal chemotherapy list within Crumlin Hospital. CHI-Crumlin anaesthesiologists also provide acute pain cover and oversee a growing pre-anaesthetic assessment service. This post is required in order to support the demand for theatre and the need to reduce waiting lists. Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist A G U
This is an appointment to the Dublin Midlands Hospitals Group on a Public Only Consultants’ Contract 2023 by the Health Service Executive. The initial commitment for this post will be to Regional Hospital, Mullingar for 37 hours per week. This post may be subject to restructuring in the future to facilitate the reorganisation of acute services in line with new clinical models of acute and community services. It is noted that the post must be congruent with the requirements of, and facilitate implementation of national health policy, the HSE’s National Clinical Programmes including commitment to deliver the relevant performance outcomes. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join our established team of six consultants providing comprehensive Obstetric and Gynaecological services within the hospital. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of general gynaecology services and participate fully in the Consultant Obstetrician on-call Rota .
