Senior Speech and Language Therapy Posts Permanent Full-time and Part-time Based in CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) provide intervention to children from the age of 0- 18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based upon a Family Centered Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team. We currently have vacancies for permanent contracts across our Dublin CDNT's Essential Requirements: · A recognized IASLT Speech and Language Therapy qualification and current registration with CORU · A minimum of three years post qualification experience to include working with clients presenting with physical and sensory disabilities · Experience working with clients presenting with dysphagia; assessment and management · Excellent communications and teamworking skills · Evidence of a commitment to CPD · Full driver’s license and access to car - Candidates that do not currently have this requirement are encouraged to apply, however there is a requirement to obtain this and will be explained at interview stage Desirable · Experience in service delivery planning and development · Experience working with clients presenting with excessive drooling · Experience in education and training and involvement in research/audit · Experience in coordinating clinics and leading and working at a consultative level in clinics alongside other lead therapists · Interest in the development of clinical skills in the area of drooling It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post. This is a permanent role which involves; -Maintain and repair pig farm equipment and machinery, including ventilation systems, feeding and equipment. -Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently. -Perform welding and fabrication work as required to repair equipment. -Adhere to safety procedures and protocols -Must have at least 1 years experience as a maintenance fitter or similar Minimum of 2 years' experience or working in a similar position is required for this role. The successful applicant may also be required to drive to other locations. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent. Working Hours / Shifts : 9am to 5.30pm, mostly Monday to Friday, however at least one Saturday per month will also be required. Some flexibility may be required. What does the Driver role involve? This role is responsible for making trips between our various clinics and sites ensuring that samples are collected / delivered on time. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Make multiple trips daily between our third-party clinics, Randox Health Clinics and Laboratories. • Ensure safe delivery of samples back to our laboratory in Sandyford, Dublin each day. • Conduct a sample count on each trip and complete required documentation when transporting samples. Witness the accessioning count upon delivery. • Collect stock orders and deliver them to the required site. • Complete a daily vehicle checklist at the start of each day. • Record vehicle milage in the provided logbook. • Ensure vehicles are filled with the correct fuel and Ad Blue, if required. • Adhere to all speed limits and road laws. Who can apply? Essential criteria: • Full, clean Irish Driving Licence. • Flexibility in your availability. • Good knowledge of the local roads and motorways. • Strong communication/customer service skills • Currently have the right to work in Ireland without visa sponsorship. Desirable: • Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery driver position. • Previous experience in a similar position. • Previous experience transporting medical samples.
