Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Role Purpose Powercomm Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team, with a particular focus on supporting our Frameworks division. The successful candidate will provide commercial and quantity surveying support across projects from tender stage through to completion and final account. The role will involve close collaboration with our Frameworks, Engineering, Project Management and Commercial teams, as well as regular engagement with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of how construction projects operate, including tendering, measurement, valuations, cost control, variations, subcontractor management and final accounts. The successful candidate will also spend time on site to develop a thorough understanding of project activities and accurately measure and quantify works. Strong client relationship skills are particularly important. We are looking for someone who is commercially astute, professional and personable, and who can build and maintain positive relationships while confidently representing Powercomm's commercial interests. Experience within general construction, civil engineering, utilities or energy infrastructure is preferred.
