A number of permanent part time vacancies currently exist within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:- Household Recycling Centre Attendant – Part Time 19.5 hours per week Scale 3, SCP 7-8, £26,403 to £26,824 per annum (pro rata for part time) Location: Ballymena/Carrickfergus M AIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB Assist in the day-to-day operation of any Household Recycling Centre within the Borough. The post holder will undertake, usually as part of a small team, duties associated with the operation of the site. Work independently using initiative and have the ability to communicate in a polite and effective manner to members of the public. Support the Senior Attendant to apply Health and Safety Legislation in line with the site working plan and safe operating procedures, completing electronic or manual records as required. A part time vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:- Household Recycling Centre Senior Attendant – Part Time 19.5 hours per week Scale 4, SCP 9-13, £27,254 to £29,064 per annum (pro rata for part time) Location: Redlands HRC, Larne MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB Responsible for the day-to-day operation of any Household Recycling Centre within the Borough, to include the supervision of a small team. Work using initiative and have the ability to communicate in a polite and effective manner to members of the public. Apply Health and Safety Legislation in line with the site working plan and safe operating procedures ensuring work activities at the site are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and site licensing conditions, completing electronic or manual records as required.
