Kerry (Outreach to Castleisland/Tralee) Job Summary This post is in Network 1 (North Kerry), working as part of an Interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young adults, 0-18yrs and their families. This will include children with Intellectual, Physical, Sensory disability, children on the Autistic Spectrum and children at risk of or query developmental delay; where their needs require the support of an Interdisciplinary Disability team. This team is under the national model of service provision “Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People” lead by the HSE. The successful candidate will be employed by the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland. The Network 1 North Kerry team is based in Listowel with an outreach service to Tralee to provide input to families from the Castleisland/Farranfore area . A ssessment, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions are provided by an Interdisciplinary team. The CDNT aims to maximise the child/ young adult’s full potential and works within the context of the family and community, empowering and supporting parents/care givers and family members Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc Candidates must have professional qualification as per the Department of Health guidelines See job description for full criteria. Have a university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject, AND Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology OR An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. AND Must have 6 months experience of working as a Psychologist , or Trainee Psychologist under supervision, with children with disabilities (Intellectual Disability, Autism and/or Physical and Sensory disabilities) Driving Licence Must have a full driving license and means of transport which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads. Age The Public Service Superannuation (Age of Retirement) Act, 2018* set 70 years as the compulsory retirement age for public servants. * Public Servants not affected by this legislation: Public servants recruited between 1 April 2004 and 31 December 2012 (new entrants) have no compulsory retirement age. Clinical Nurse Manager
Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Permanent Contract- 37.5 hours per week Based in CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams, Swords The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) will be providing intervention to children from the age of 0-18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention . Our services are based upon a Family Centered Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team in Balbriggan. The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements: · Be a registered RNID, RCN or RGN on the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and maintain a live a live PIN. · Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience to include at least 1 year in a community setting. · Possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Clinical experience to include N/G, PEG feeding, respiratory support such as CPAP BiPAP, tracheostomy, catheterisation and continence care. · Full driver’s license and access to car. Some of the key duties of the role will include: • Lead R&D projects from a technical engineering perspective • Design, develop and optimize new and existing quality control products • Develop new cutting-edge manufacturing processes for current processes • Develop and scale-up manufacturing processes for various IVD products • Identify emerging technologies and maintain a competitive edge to other serum QC manufacturers • Ensure all projects comply with UK, EU and global regulatory requirements, including ISO13485 and IVDR standards • Analyse experimental and production data to guide design improvements and ensure product performance • Prepare technical reports, protocols and all other associated documentation as per Randox procedures • The troubleshooting of formulation queries and continual improvement of formulation processes including continual improvement of departmental ISO procedures • The risk management, verification and validation of the serum quality control manufacturing process and any changes made Essential criteria: • Bachelors degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline • 3+ years experience in a relevant industry • Willingness to be practical and hands-on as well as perform theoretical research • Proven experience within the IVD, medical device or biotechnology industries • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including fluid dynamics, mass transfer and reaction engineering • Knowledge of ISO 13485, IVDR and other relevant standards and regulations • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to convey complex ideas effectively to a wide audience Desirable: • Masters or PhD in chemical engineering • Qualified Chartered Engineer with the IChemE • Experience with Design of Experiments and Statistical Analysis Techniques • Experience with Lyophilisation including associated manufacturing process development technologies • Experience with CIP (Clean-in-place), as well as vial filling, capping and labelling • Knowledge of automated processes and equipment, pumps, valves, PLC control
