We are looking for candidates who are innovative, diligent, ambitious, ability to learn on the job, and have very good communication skills. **JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES** * Machine high quality precision tooling parts according to engineering drawings provided * Ensuring all specifications/tolerances are met on all tooling parts manufactured * Continuously improving efficiency when manufacturing parts (i.e. can this part be manufactured more efficiently) * Design and manufacture production aids & fixturing to aid in tooling part manufacturing * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the toolroom equipment * Maintain toolroom cleanliness and housekeeping and ensure that others do also * Take on other duties which the Company may assign you from time to time. **REQUIREMENTS** * Comfortable to work individually or as part of a team * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt in a challenging, fast paced environment * Good team player who works well with colleagues or independently * Fluent in English, with good level of reading and writing skills * Good attention to detail and strong ability to learn new techniques, systems, and technologies * Previous Toolroom experience advantageous but not essential * Strong aptitude and interest in engineering

McHale Plant Sales, Distributor of Komatsu Construction and Forestry Equipment, Metso Crushing and Screening Equipment, Merlo Telescopic Handlers, Terex Ecotec Waste Processing Equipment and Topcon machine control systems wish to recruit for the following position, **Construction Plant Fitter Apprenticeship** McHale Plant Sales covers Ireland and Northern Ireland (some products) for Sales, Parts and Service, operating out of our two main depots located in Birdhill, Co Tipperary and Rathcoole, Co Dublin. We currently have a number of Apprenticeship positions available for Construction Plant Engineers. This is a 4 year Apprenticeship position which will include, as part of your training, both workshop and field work along with required college placements. The Apprenticeship will mostly be focused on the Komatsu range of Construction equipment, including, Excavators, Dump trucks, Bulldozers and Wheel Loaders. The opportunity will also be available to work on the other brands we distribute, which include • Metso Outotec range of mobile Crushers and Screeners. • Terex Ecotec ranges of mobile Waste Shredders, Screeners and Material Handlers • Komatsu Forest range of Harvesters and Forwarders • Merlo range of Telescopic Handler • Topcon machine control systems • A wide range of attachments . As a Lift Engineer Apprentice you will work with experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer.
