Maintenance Apprentice
Job Title: Maintenance Apprentice (Electrical or Mechanical Pathway) Reporting To: Maintenance Manager Location: This role is based in Kilwaughter, Co. Antrim As a Maintenance apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience and formal training in either mechanical or electrical engineering (depending on your pathway). Under the guidance of experienced engineers and technicians, you will develop the practical skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to support the design, installation, maintenance, and improvement of engineering systems and equipment across the organisation. Throughout the apprenticeship you will receive day release to attend college whilst working towards your level 3 qualification. By gaining knowledge and training within different aspects of the role you will work your way up to become a skilled maintenance representative. You will be reviewed regularly throughout your apprenticeship with product and skills training and one-to-one mentoring from one of our experienced Maintenance Fitters. This exciting new opportunity to launch your career in maintenance in the manufacturing sector and to develop your skills is part of Saint-Gobain Exterior Solutions (SGES) which is the new business unit for Kilwaughter and Weber. We have an excellent opportunity to join our AbbeyAutoline Academy as an Apprentice Sales Advisor. No previous experience required! Working as part of the Personal Lines branch sales team, you will be provided with a comprehensive Apprentice Training Programme, in conjunction with Belfast Met, to support you in achieving your NVQ Level 2/3 in Providing Financial Services. With practical on-the-job training, you will obtain all the skills and knowledge you require to sell personal lines insurance products, such as car, home, van, and travel, to our customers throughout Northern Ireland.
