Duties and Responsibilities • Monitoring and managing security across the M365 tenants including Microsoft identities, data, devices, apps, and infrastructure • Administrating access control polices and Privileged Access Management • Develop group policy and scripts to automate provisioning and permissions for end users • Administrating Microsoft Intune for mobile device management • Utilize a pro-active, preventative maintenance and support approach including monitoring and health checks to minimize business disruptions • Assist in planning the M365 vision and roadmap for the Agency • Provide tier 3 support for Exchange, Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams and any other M365 environment issues escalated from other Tusla ICT Teams • Contribute to and maintain best practices to ensure successful deployments and high productivity • Contribute to technical design sessions and prepare documentation for architectural review • Other ICT duties as required Relationship Management and Collaboration • Work as part of the Cloud team in developing and maintaining a technical environment that is secure, highly available and fit for use. • Work in collaboration with the other ICT Teams as required to support related tier 3 support, incident management and problem management issues. • Work with external vendors and other ICT Staff in delivering Cloud infrastructure related initiatives. Annual Leave The annual leave associated with the whole time equivalent of this post is 30 days per annum. Superannuation 1. This is a pensionable position with Tusla. The successful candidate will upon appointment become a member of the appropriate pension scheme. Pension scheme membership will be notified within the contract of employment. Probation 2. A probation period of 39 weeks, or proportion of same for fixed term /specified purpose contracts, where applicable shall apply from the commencement of employment, during which the contract may be terminated by either party in accordance with this contract. The probationary period may be extended at the discretion of management by a further 9 weeks or proportion of same for fixed term/specified purpose contracts, where applicable. Deputy Principal
The overall responsibility of the Deputy Principal is to assist the Principal in the management of the college.
