Head of Psychology, CRC Clontarf Permanent, Full Time The Head of Psychology will lead and be responsible for the effective delivery of a quality psychology services to children and adults with complex disability via our Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) and our enhanced complex care pathways. Psychology services include assessment, interventions, consultation, research, education and support. Such psychological services will be delivered in line with CRC strategy and objectives and within established professional standards, guidelines and policy. The Head of Psychology will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the CRC strategy including a key focus on developing services in the areas of autism and neurodiversity. This dynamic leader will lead the re-pivoting and expansion of our services to encompass more than just physical disabilities. The Head of Psychology will be a key leader of clinical staff in delivering the CRC’s ambition for service delivery. The successful candidate must be familiar with all relevant national policies and also have the following essential requirements: · Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or related field. · Extensive experience in working with individuals with disability · Extensive experience in working with individuals with autism and neurodiversity. · Proven track record of strategic leadership and service transformation. · Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices. · Experience in research and innovation within the field of psychology. It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post. The Care Assistant will assist in all aspects of daily living in line with the needs, welfare and preference of our Core Members (adults with intellectual disabilities) and as outlined in an agreed care plan. The person will be responsible, reliable and competent in household management and have the ability to create and maintain a homely and supportive environment. The Care Assistant should be flexible and have the ability to work as a member of a team. They must be willing and able to work rosters and include both days, nights, sleepovers, late evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays and Christmas. Details of Service The person appointed to this post will work within the Integrated Services Directorate; working as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care. The Public Dental Service provides oral health care for patients eligible for dental services which the Health Services Executive is, or may be, under obligation to provide. A preventative evidence based approach is the fundamental and distinctive character of the public dental service. A dental service is also provided for patients admitted to any institution maintained by the HSE and for those children in the care of the H.S.E. If required an emergency dental service is also provided. Future developments for the service will include enhanced care for Special Needs Groups and Preventative programs. The team structure involves assisting the Principal Dental Surgeon in the general guidance of Clinical Dental Surgeons, Grade 1 and the direct supervision as required of any existing auxiliary dental staff.
