Meath and are now seeking a full-time Retail Sales &amp; Merchandising Assistant to join our team. About the RoleThis is a hands-on retail role on the shop floor. You’ll be helping customers, merchandising products, keeping the store looking sharp and supporting the day-to-day running of the shop.We’re open to different backgrounds – this role would suit either:<ul><li>Someone with good retail or trade experience who enjoys dealing with customers, or</li><li>Someone earlier in their career who is confident with tills, computers and basic tech, and keen to learn.</li></ul> Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assisting customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service</li><li>Operating the till and point-of-sale system</li><li>Helping with pricing, signage and in-store merchandising</li><li>Replenishing shelves and maintaining stock presentation on the shop floor</li><li>Keeping the store clean, safe and well organised</li><li>Carrying out manual handling tasks such as lifting, moving and setting out stock</li></ul> Ideal Candidate<ul><li>Previous experience in retail, trade counter or customer-facing roles is an advantage</li><li>Comfortable using a till and basic computer systems</li><li>Interested in tools, hardware, DIY, workwear or outdoor products</li><li>Reliable, physically fit and happy to be on your feet and lifting stock</li><li>A strong team player with good communication and customer service skills </li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Full-time contract with steady hours</li><li>Competitive hourly rate</li><li>Staff discount across our full product range</li><li>Opportunity to grow with an expanding Irish retail brand </li></ul>How to ApplyPlease click the APPLY NOW button to upload your CV and a short cover note
