The fabricator is involved in such industries as constructional steel, pressure vessel, tank and boiler manufacture, ship building and ship repair also general engineering. The skills required are wide and varied. They include skills such as measuring, marking out, cutting and welding materials using different processes and assembly techniques. The Metal Fabricator will spend some time outdoors and may be required to work on heights. All roles are full time, will average 39 hours per week and operate on the basis of 5 days over 7 with a salary of €30,000 per annum. Picking & Packing Orders: Select items according to pick lists, pack goods securely, and prepare stock for dispatch to all branches. Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks or containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards. Dispose of packaging and waste appropriately. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in line with safety standards. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and report hazards, accidents, or equipment issues immediately. Documentation & Reporting: Complete delivery notes, stock movement logs, and any relevant paperwork accurately. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
