Administrator – Corporate Governance(€24,996 to €49,137 per annum) Role Purpose The Corporate Governance Team provides secretarial and corporate governance support to Enterprise Ireland’s Board, its Sub-Committees, and approximately 15 further funding and management committees. The person appointed to the Corporate Governance Administrator role will work closely with the members of the team to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a number of Committees, ensuring that regulatory compliance and procedures are followed. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying that the proposals for circulation are consistent and compliant with the Terms of Reference of the Committee, ensure a timely circulation, and that the decisions of the Committee are recorded accurately in the Minutes for the meeting. The position involves working closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team and other colleagues to advise on Committee submissions. Key Deliverables 2. Administrator - Grant Applications (€24,996 to €49,137 per annum) Role Purpose The role of the Administrator, Grant Applications will be to process online and/or offline applications from EI clients for Committee-funding in a timely manner. The person appointed to this role will be responsible for reviewing and verifying that the approved Committee proposal is consistent and compliant with the application, the offer and relevant EI policies and grant applications procedures. Once verified, the Grant Applications Administrator will create and issue Letters of Offer which form the legal basis of contracts between clients and Enterprise Ireland. Key Deliverables: • Administer the full Enterprise Ireland (EI) grant applications process from receipt of application to drafting/acceptance of Letters of Offer. • Administer relevant EI online and offline applications systems in an efficient manner. • Represent clients’ grant applications via participation at relevant pre-approval Committee meetings in relation to proposals. • Issue Letters of Offer and other relevant legal documentation to successful applicants in an accurate and timely manner. • Work closely with sectoral and other colleagues in the organisation to advise and support them in progressing applications for grant support, addressing a wide range of grant related issues. • Ensure that existing processes and systems are continuously reviewed to improve efficiencies. • Respond effectively to all set targets and priorities. • Undertake other projects that may be assigned from time to time.

The successful candidate will support research in the area of advanced waveform design and multiple antenna signal processing for vehicular communication systems, in the context of the NEW WAVE project, led by Dr Arman Farhang. The successful candidate will be working with a vibrant team of researchers to drive world-class research around the development of advanced physical layer technologies for future vehicular communication systems in new application areas such as connected infotainment and autonomous driving. The work involves collaboration with both industry and academia, namely, Jaguar Land Rover, Ireland, Dublin City University, Ireland and University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA. This project relies on a set of advanced mathematical tools to develop multidimensional data transmission and detection techniques that can address the requirements such as extremely low latency and ultra-high reliability of the communication links in future networks. The emerging mission-critical scenarios and applications in the area of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications are of particular interest in this research. Thus, the successful candidate should have extensive experience and expertise in mathematical modelling, analysis and signal processing with a particular focus on the wireless communications design, supported by strong publication track record. Experience and expertise in testbed experimentation are desirable.
