Kitchen Team Leader / Chef De Partie

Around each village, the Food and Beverage department employs around 350 team members across multiple different restaurants, cafés, and bars, as well as a production kitchen. KITCHEN TEAM LEADER / CHEF DE PARTIE | Circa €36,800 per annum plus tips All colleagues working in our restaurants, cafés and bars will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service. We are looking for a Kitchen Team Leader (Chef de Partie) to join our busy team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting food to agreed company standards. Excellent communication skills are required as you will provide general supervision and coaching to all junior staff, ensuring the personal development of the junior team. You will also deputise for the Assistant Kitchen Manager in their absence, supervising the unit chefs to maintain the smooth running of the kitchen. Other responsibilities will include assisting with the management of the cost of sales for your unit through effective use of the company ordering system, stock and portion control and minimising food wastage. Shop Floor Assistant
Main purpose of the role: Merchandise, rotate and face off all stock in assigned department while maintaining hygiene and food standards. The ideal candidate will have/be: Excellent communication skills; Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible; Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team; Main duties: Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative; Process orders for various departments; Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times; Liaise with the Store Manager on changes to layouts, ends and sides and ensure changes are correctly implemented; Implement correct labelling and stock rotation procedures; Ensure deliveries are checked off in line with goods inwards procedures. Clinic Co-ordinator
Working hours: Full Time Hours Experience level: Previous Optical experience is NOT essential for this role. At Specsavers, our Clinical Co-ordinators are the support pillar of the shop floor. The main aim of this role is to ensure that all customers who are visiting for an appointment are seen quickly and efficiently, helping to maintain a smooth journey throughout their visit. As the first point of contact for each patient, your role is essential to uphold the efficient running of the clinic and guarantee the best customer experience. • Provide a warm welcome for every Specsavers customer and guide them to the seating area of the store if they have an appointment. • Manage the seating area efficiently, ensuring all customers are spoken to and any immediate questions or requirements that that have are attended to. • Measure the waiting times in store and fully explain the reasons behind any delay of more than five minutes to a customer’s appointment, understanding the impact this might have on them • Have a thorough knowledge of the appointment diary each day so that any emergency or walk in customers can be accommodated where possible. • Liaise with the store manager to ensure that the daily clinics are set up effectively, including appropriate test times, avoiding similar side-by-side appointments. • Work with the optician team to review waiting times performance, how waiting times can be reduced and how clinics can run on time. • Work to Specsavers Customer Service Standards • Actively seek to improve your own skills and product knowledge. • Use your strong organisational skills to effectively manage the customer appointment times. • Create a great store atmosphere by ensuring appointment times run smoothly wherever possible. You’ll need to be well-organised, approachable, and great in a team, understanding the flexibility required to meet the changing needs of the store.
