Kildare. We operate a large distribution centre with a modern fleet of trucks and refrigerated vehicles, supported by a team of 15 drivers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking for steady, nationwide work with their own dedicated truck. Harold Engineering Ltd require an apprentice MAMF to train as a Field Service Engineer with focus on compressed air & garage equipment division: the role will comprise of service and maintenance calls to a large existing customer base both in Galway and the surrounding counties. The role is open to first year apprentices. Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary The postholder will be responsible for maintaining a high level of general cleanliness, general maintenance and upkeep, ensuring a friendly and efficient service to the public. Driving Duties Drive and be responsible for any vehicle allocated. Duties will include vehicle checks requiring routine maintenance, e.g. oil and water checks and cleaning, transporting goods, equipment and personnel and completion of associated paperwork. Whilst not driving, undertake ancillary duties as appropriate. Responsible for the constant movement of all stock/equipment in relation to summer festivals, major events and community events and for completion of associated paperwork.
