This is a unique opportunity to gain practical engineering experience while studying towards a Level 8 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering through Atlantic Technological University. As an apprentice, you'll become part of a team responsible for managing one of Ireland's most complex infrastructure environments, helping to shape the future development of Dublin Airport. ________________________________________ About the Role This role combines academic learning with real-world engineering experience. You'll spend the majority of your time working alongside Chartered Engineers, Asset Managers and Project Delivery teams, while attending your academic programme through the Civil Engineering Apprenticeship pathway. Over the course of the programme, you will gain hands-on experience across a range of engineering disciplines, developing both technical knowledge and practical skills in infrastructure management, inspection, maintenance and construction. The Civil Engineering Apprenticeship combines academic learning with practical workplace experience over four years. The programme includes: • A Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering (Level 8) delivered by ATU. • Online lectures and scheduled campus attendance throughout the year. • Structured on-the-job training within the daa Asset Management team. • Mentoring and support from experienced Civil Engineers and infrastructure professionals. • Exposure to airport infrastructure projects, asset inspections, maintenance planning, sustainability initiatives and capital development programmes. • Opportunities to build practical engineering skills while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of Dublin Airport.
