Key Responsibilities •Work cross functionally to develop and implement a strategic asset reliability plan supporting both corrective and preventative maintenance for your area meeting all Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability goals are met. •Lead, coach and manage a team of Area leads and PPM maintenance technicians for your plant/ to provide optimum equipment reliability to support the manufacturing operations. •Builds skills capability across the Plant technical/engineering team to engage with latest modern practices. •Provide leadership, coaching to engineering team towards implementation of Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies Including PM (Progressive Maintenance), CBM (condition-based monitoring), Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s), Breakdown / root cause analysis etc. •Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities to deliver the company objectives, and goals. •Conduct regular equipment inspections and assessments to identify potential reliability issues and develop strategies to mitigate them. •Analyse equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns and develop strategies to improve equipment reliability. •Lead Breakdown analysis and root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and develop effective corrective actions. •Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to proactively identify and address potential equipment failures. Personal Competencies & Qualifications: Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Manufacturing) Extensive experience of high-volume manufacturing Extensive experience of Continuous Improvement Data collection and analytic skills using Manufacturing intelligence systems Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Typical Tasks / Responsibilities A career in arboriculture is best suited for those interested in the care and study of trees. An interest in working outdoors in a physically challenging environment is necessary, with a good head for heights, while keeping fit and learning new challenges in a continually changing environment – as every tree is unique in its own right. Arborists manage trees, hedgerows and shrubs. The work is undertaken in both rural and urban settings and includes all aspects of felling, pruning, thinning, rigging, section felling, preserving, planting and protecting trees, sometimes using heavy equipment. They also provide information and advice on specific tree-related issues. There is an increasing focus on maintaining a safe relationship between the trees, their immediate environment and the general public. The role of the Arborist is to carry out any required arboriculture works in a correct manner that meets the objectives in its environment and to industry standards. The arborist should possess the skills that enable him/her to carry out such work in a manner that doesn’t put them, their crew, or the general public at risk, nor cause damage to existing structures, while meeting required standards. On successful completion of the proposed apprenticeship, an Arborist will be able to: Knowledge Equipment RPL (Recognised Prior Learning) Applications will be assessed through RPL policy, with consultation, documentation and assessment.
