Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will provide maintenance support to the site technologies in production and utilities. They will work as part of a wider maintenance team, responsible for providing a comprehensive maintenance function covering plant, equipment and auxiliary services. In addition, they will strive to continuously improve upon standards by utilising the internal tools available and actively engaging in problem solving and continuous improvement events. The plant is a high volume 24/7 production environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Fabric Technician
The soft services technician is accountable for the smooth execution of all appropriate functions associated with reliable maintenance of the building and building fabric. He/She will contribute to the High-Performance culture within the integrated facilities management function by providing a flexible, accurate service to enable the team to achieve key deliverables. He/She is an active member of the integrated facilities management function providing support, guidance and expertise. Site Compliance: • Required to comply with the client’s global policies, procedures, guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current good manufacturing practice in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions. • Complete site training and keep up to date with the latest operational procedures. • Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture • Safety / EHS Responsibility: • Attend CBRE toolbox talks • Work with a culture of EHS excellence at facility and provide high-quality safety, health and welfare technical approach to assigned operations. • Work with site permitting and compliance strategies. Complete assigned IFM works: • Complete assigned building maintenance and Helpdesk tasks. Actively interact with end users, and the building maintenance lead. • To respond to emergency requests across the site where a building maintenance activity is required. This includes (but is not limited to) building fabric damage, spills, leaks, drain blockages, furniture moves. • To ensure repairs are implemented with minimal impact to end users or normal operation activities onsite. • To be flexible and assist the IFM team in any role required by the business • Supervise of specialist vendors, to ensure work is completed to required standard. • Issuing permits to work for third party contractors Experience Required: 3 years general trade experience (carpentry, plumbing, building, electrical) within a regulated environment. Workshop Services – aircraft structural repairs, spray painting, flight safety equipment maintenance, non-destructive testing, calibration, and ground support equipment maintenance. Technical Services – aircraft maintenance planning, technical documentation and procurement support. Ancillary Services – maintenance of aviation life-support and communications equipment, including helmets, headsets, locator beacons, and aircraft batteries. Mission Support Systems – support and maintenance of communication networks, servers, radios, satellite communications, and command-and-control systems. Airfield Services – maintenance of navigation aids, radar, surveillance systems, air traffic control equipment, meteorological systems, and telecommunications infrastructure. Inventory Management – administration and control of aircraft parts, technical equipment, flight operations support and supply chain activities. Auditing and Compliance – supporting technical audits and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Eligibility Requirements To apply, candidates must: · Be an Irish citizen, or have legal entitlement to reside and work in Ireland for the duration of their service. · Be of good character and capable of obtaining any required security clearance. · Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and under 39 years of age on the closing date for applications. Qualifications Candidates must hold either: A National Craft Certificate, or an approved NFQ Level 7 qualification in Aeronautical /Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering. For roles in Mission Support Systems, Ancillary Services, or Airfield Services, candidates must hold an approved NFQ Level 7 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline such as Telecommunications, ICT, or Cyber Security.
