Sales Administrator

Your New Role You will be responsible for delivering strong, reliable administration across all areas of the branch. This is a varied and important role with a strong customer focus, particularly over the phone. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Customer Liaison & Communication Acting as a first point of contact for customers, including regular telephoning of customers to provide updates, confirm delivery bookings, resolve queries and offer exceptional support. Customer coordinator duties including stock updates, initial customer care calls and follow-up communication. Ensuring a professional, friendly and proactive approach to every customer interaction. Back Office Administration Email management and prompt communication with customers and colleagues. Managing and maintaining the rota system. Assisting with banking management and completing daily administrative checks. Processing paperwork, placing orders, raising maintenance tickets and supporting day-to-day branch admin. Stock Control & Operational Support Accountability for booking in customer deliveries, including confirming details via telephone. Managing stock control, including goods inwards, stock checks and general stock organisation. Receiving stock transfers on the system and flagging missing or faulty items. Supporting stocktakes by extracting system data, assisting with physical counts, entering figures and reporting results to Head Office, including helping investigate discrepancies. Supporting the branch team with weekly marketing communication, including price changes, promotions and replenishment needs. Health & Safety Management Supporting and maintaining branch health & safety compliance, ensuring procedures and documentation are followed correctly. To Succeed in This Role… You will have a strong administration background, excellent attention to detail and be confident using Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone are essential, as you will be regularly liaising with customers and supporting colleagues across the company. You will be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment. An interest in working outdoors in a physically challenging environment is necessary, with a good head for heights, while keeping fit and learning new challenges in a continually changing environment – as every tree is unique in its own right. Arborists manage trees, hedgerows and shrubs. The work is undertaken in both rural and urban settings and includes all aspects of felling, pruning, thinning, rigging, section felling, preserving, planting and protecting trees, sometimes using heavy equipment. They also provide information and advice on specific tree-related issues. There is an increasing focus on maintaining a safe relationship between the trees, their immediate environment and the general public. The role of the Arborist is to carry out any required arboriculture works in a correct manner that meets the objectives in its environment and to industry standards. The arborist should possess the skills that enable him/her to carry out such work in a manner that doesn’t put them, their crew, or the general public at risk, nor cause damage to existing structures, while meeting required standards. On successful completion of the proposed apprenticeship, an Arborist will be able to: Knowledge Equipment RPL (Recognised Prior Learning) Applications will be assessed through RPL policy, with consultation, documentation and assessment.

Metal Fabrication Apprentice
ABOUT THE COMPANY Larry Byrne Engineering Ltd is a leading engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacturing and repairs of livestock bodies, drag trailers and all commercial bodies. We are a small company with ten staff, working together. APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM Larry Byrne Engineering Ltd we offer a wide range of training programmes, working on different machinery, vehicles and plants. The apprenticeship consists of four on the job phases with Larry Byrne Engineering Ltd and three off-the job training phases in accordance with Solas scheduling system. WHAT IS METAL FABRICATION The skills are wide and varied, skills such as measuring, marking out, cutting and welding materials. Learning how to use, care and safety operate machinery and equipment ie: Press Brake, Guillotine, Drills, Cutting etc... Welding mild steel, Aluminium , Stainless Steel, Making a livestock body from start to finish, repairing a trailer, repairing agriculture machinery and the odd unusual item. All metal fabrication will be trained in the following, working with a variety of specialised tools: Lather, Milling Machine, Grinders etc.. Assembling new machinery, dismantling repairs/make & fitting of new parts, report writing of completed work. PAY We pay all our apprentices the recommended wage set by the ETB. Review it after 3 months (A well adjusted candidate will be offered above the recommended wage.) A training allowance paid by the local ETB while the apprentices attending the off-the job training. REQUIREMENT Junior Certificate must be completed Must be 16 years old or older Good communciation skills Ability to work as part of a team to enrol in our apprenticeship program. A full award placed at Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications (EQF 4) which includes proficiency in Mathematics 3. Have successfully completed an approved pre-apprenticeship training course in an engineering discipline and demonstrate a proficiency in Mathematics similar to O6 in Leaving Certificate 4.
