CORLANN –WEST REGION POST: PERMANENT FULL-TIME TEAM MANAGER (Social Care Manager 2 or Clinical Nurse Manager 2) HYDE SERVICES (Roscommon Town, Kilkerrin Kilteevan, Athleague, Tremane/Rahara) Ref: 103856 Location: Kilkerrin, Roscommon Town, Kilteevan, Athleague, Tremane/Rahara areas. The Role: The Team Manager will provide leadership and direction for the team, actively coordinating the team to ensure the development of person-centred services as agreed on the Service Plan for each Service Area. The role is full-time supernumerary. The Team Manager will support the staff teams and be responsible for the overall operational management of specified locations of the service. The successful candidates will work closely with the Service Coordinator/Area Manager to ensure that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner within the agreed budget, and will be proactive members of the management team. Qualifications/Experience: Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have: A relevant 3rd level qualification in Nursing and current Live Register Certificate from NMBI Or Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board – CORU. Or Be eligible under the Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU (evidence of application status is necessary). And The post will be rostered on a 7-day basis. It is envisaged that the post will primarily be Monday to Friday. Contracted hours of work are flexible within the hours of 8am – 8pm. Beo Adult Services provide a range of community-based servicesincluding day, residential, respite, community outreach, family support and a range of multidisciplinary support services. People are supported in day centres, supported employment, social and micro enterprises, training and education and these can be in groups or individualised. People are supported in residential settings in their own homes in the community individually and in groups. Reporting/Responsible To: Service Coordinator / Area Manager Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Ø A current live Register Certificate with NMBI (Bord Altranais) is an essential requirement, RNID/RMHN qualification is desirable. Ø Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience gained in services for people with intellectual disabilities. Ø Qualifications in Phlebotomy and Nurse Prescribing are an advantage; a willingness to undertake these courses is desirable. Ø Experience of working with individuals who have complex medical needs is a requirement of the job. Ø Experience in a leadership role is desirable. Ø Candidates should be able to demonstrate direction, communication and team working skills and be a flexible and dynamic individual who will relate to people in a range of situations with an understanding of and commitment to the principles of public accountability as they apply in the health service. Ø A full clean manual Driving Licence, which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads is an essential requirement. Ø Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post. Working Hours: · X1 permanent full time = 75 hours per fortnight 37.5 hours per week based on a 7 day duty roster with day, night and weekend cover required for this post. An On Call responsibility is an essential requirement of the post.
