The role will include understanding client supply needs, the introduction of new markets, coordinating changes in scopes of work, implementing improved ways of working, tracking commercial delivery performance and service levels, arranging in person and online meetings and working on ways to better improve Customer Relations with Almac Pharma Services. Commercial Services Coordinator The Commercial Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of multiple commercial supply and scope change projects, on behalf of Almac Pharma Services’ clients. As a key part of the commercial client management function, the Commercial Services Coordinator will support the management of new product introductions and on-going account management, to enable on-time, in-full delivery. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of client orders, sales and forecasts. Commercial Support Coordinator You will process and manage sales orders through the ERP system and other order‑to‑cash platforms, from receipt of Purchase Order to order dispatch, ensuring full compliance with agreed terms and conditions. You will also provide administrative support to the Commercial and Client Services Departments as required. Details of Service Each Regional Health Area will have a Placement Planning and Review Team within Disability Services to assist with planning residential and housing solutions ensuring the most appropriate, person centred, high quality and most cost-effective placements are achieved. The teams comprise of a Clinical Nurse Manager, a Social Care Leader and a Grade V Administrator. The team will coordinate and/or participate in pre-placement assessments, periodic reviews of residential placements and ensure appropriate onward placements are developed as necessary. The team will negotiate a joint assessment process with providers where levels of support are formally agreed prior to placing the individual and formally reviewed within 6 months of entry and on an ongoing basis of minimum 6 monthly intervals. The team will make recommendations to increase or reduce levels of support that are not consistent with risk levels. Model of Care The HSE Corporate Plan commits to “reimagine disability services, to be the most responsive, person-centred model achievable with greater flexibility and choice for the service user”. This is an ambition that requires careful consideration from an organisational development and transformation perspective so that achieving the desired outcome becomes a reality based on a co-design process with all stakeholders and with strong dedicated leadership. HSE Disability Services follow a social model of support and work in partnership with the voluntary providers (Section 38 and 39, Health Act 2004) towards supporting persons with disabilities in achieving a fulfilling life, with meaningful roles in their community. General Services Supervisor
Essential Requirements A General Services Supervisor (GSS) is responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team of front line service employees based in one of the Council’s three Municipal Districts, to deliver a wide variety of key local authority services. These include transportation infrastructure; environmental protection; drainage, recreation and amenity provision and community development. Local Authorities also play a key role in supporting economic development and enterprise promotion at local level. Driving Licence The Holder of the Post of shall hold a full driving licence for Class B vehicles free from endorsement/disqualification. Character Candidates shall be of good character. 5. Health Each candidate must be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. * Non Irish Qualifications must be accompanied by a determination from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) to establish their comparability against the Irish National Framework of Qualifications, overseas qualifications must also be accompanied by a translation document. PARTICULARS OF OFFICE 1. The Post: The post is permanent, whole-time and pensionable. A panel will be formed for an initial period of one year and this may be extended for a period of time at the discretion of the Chief Executive. The panel will be used to fill appropriate positions that may arise for its duration. Positions will be offered in order of merit as per the panel. 2. Salary: The salary shall be fully inclusive and shall be as determined from time to time. Holders of the post will be paid at the appropriate point on the salary scale in accordance with the relevant Department Circular. Starting pay for new entrants will be at the minimum of the scale. Where the appointee has been serving elsewhere in the public service in an analogous grade and pay-scale, and will be moving without break to another part of the public sector at an analogous grade, the appointment may be made at the appointee’s current point of scale. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay. The current salary scale applicable to the post is €923.97 - €1,088.14 per week 3. The post holder will, if required, act for an employee of a higher level. The post holder may be required to work outside his/her normal job description from time to time. implemented in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations including planning and procurement · Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and regulations, and Offaly County Council’s Safety Management Systems at all times · To carry out regular Health and Safety inspections of outdoor employees works, depot locations, facilities managed by Offaly County Council and ensure outdoor employees under their supervision are carrying out daily inspections of vehicles and reporting any defects to Offaly County Council Machinery Yard · Report immediately to line manager, the circumstances of any inefficiency or unsatisfactory work or service in his/her charge and to carry out the direction consequent on such reports. · Inspect public roads in the relevant area and take all necessary steps for keeping them in good repair at all times, subject to the general direction of the relevant line manager · Ensure all sign posts, warning signs, public lights and litterbins or other notices in the relevant area are maintained in a proper condition and to report vandalism of such items · Keep records of all work done including materials produced, supplied and used, and quantities of work done to include the checking of measurement of loads, etc., so as to verify that they contain the amounts specified · Prepare requisitions through the Council’s Financial Management System for the purchase of materials and supplies required for works in hand · Be responsible for the custody of all maintenance and construction materials, tools and equipment in the relevant and the maintenance of necessary records in this regard · Supervise and liaise with contractors/sub-contractors engaged by the local authority to carryout works · Prepare costings and expenditure/budget analysis on any works within the area when requested · Estimate project technical or resource requirements · Furnish all reports and returns in connection with any works, accidents or other matters which may be required from time to time. · Report to senior management on all development work, tree cutting or other activities in the area which impact on legislation relevant to the local authority · Serve notices on landowners in connection with hedge cutting, spillages and the cleaning of drains, and other relevant statutory notices · Give evidence in court when required in connection with any proceedings involving the local authority · Keep senior management advised on all matters which may be of importance in the interest of the County Council and to liaise with other relevant sections of the Council on works and emergencies. · Deal with members of the public in a courteous, prompt and efficient manner at all times and investigate public complaints · Carry out inspections as are required under the Planning Acts, Building Control Acts, Road Acts, Litter and Water Pollution Acts, Housing Acts and other relevant Acts as required · Act if directed as an Authorised Officer of the Council under the Litter Pollution, Water Pollution, Waste Management Acts and other relevant Acts. · Supervise and support any community employment or job initiative schemes operated by the local authority · Carry out site surveys on lands or bodies of water and public lighting · Support the preparation of traffic management plans and traffic surveys and road accident investigations · Supervise road improvement works and pavement condition surveys and urban renewal schemes · Carry out any duties assigned under the Winter Maintenance Programme · Prepare written Work Base: Offaly County Council reserves the right to assign you to any department or premises in use by the Council, now or in the future. Working Hours: The working hours at present provide for a five day, thirty-nine hours working week, hours may vary from time to time. The working hours may be reviewed at any time by the Council. The post may require flexibility in working outside of normal hours, including at weekends, as necessary. No additional remunertation will be paid in respect of such activities. 6. Annual Leave: The current annual leave entitlement is 25 days per annum (inclusive of Good Friday). About the role Full-time, earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship in Electrical Instrumentation. Field Service role based in Whitegate Co. Cavan. Key responsibilities * Assist with calibration of temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, and related instruments. * Follow documented procedures; use reference standards and basic test equipment. * Record results, maintain certificates, and support traceability and housekeeping. * Flag out-of-tolerance findings and support basic troubleshooting. You’ll gain * Metrology basics, uncertainty, and traceability. * GMP/GDP practices and data integrity. * Hands-on experience with Ellab equipment and software. Quantity Surveying L8 Apprentice
First Year Apprentice Vacancy An Overview of the Level 8 Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship An apprenticeship is a full-time programme that combines work-based learning with a formal training programme. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will work as a full- time member of staff with your employer, who will release you to attend the structured training programme with the training provider the earn as you learn approach. The learning component will be delivered through Atlantic Technological University, Co. Sligo Initially who function as the co-ordinating provider along with SCSI for Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeships in Ireland. The academic modules will be delivered online one day per week, with remaining four days on the job. Those who successfully achieve all programme elements will attain a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying at Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). Attendance at all scheduled training and achieving the various certifications involved, is a mandatory requirement for you to successfully complete the programme. The start date for apprentices recruited to join the programme will be early September 2026. Please note that requests for deferrals cannot be accommodated. Ltd will assign you a supervisor and mentor to support, guide and mentor the apprentice(s). Your mentor will arrange task/team rotations to ensure the apprentice has access to the range/type of work required to meet the training plan learning outcomes. Periodic face-to-face observation of the experience and achievements of the apprentice will be required, and outcomes recorded and discussed with the Supervisor/Assessor who will record the data within the apprentice training/learning plan.
