Exciting Career Opportunity!Registered General Nurse - TheatrePositions available in the following:<ul><li>Main Theatre</li><li>Ophthalmology</li><li>Day Procedure Unit</li></ul>Full-time (37.5 hours per week) | Permanent |Candidate Criteria:Qualifications· Be registered, or be eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing &amp; Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI]Experience· At least 1 - 2 year’s post registration experience in acute care nursing.· Previous nursing experience for specialised areas is required. Please clearly indicate your experience on your CV.· Post graduate qualification or relevant educational course. (Desirable)· Experience with an Electronic Health Record. (Desirable)The Purpose of This Role:The Registered General Nurse in Theatre will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period (before, during, and after surgery in Recovery). This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the surgical and anaesthetic team.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Evaluate operating room patients and plans, implement and document clinical nursing care.
