Role Summary:As an Operations Graduate, you will work across key production areas, gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day management of a busy food manufacturing operation. You will support production planning, monitor performance against operational targets, investigate production issues, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and yield. The role will provide exposure to multiple departments and a practical understanding of how a large-scale manufacturing business operates. Full training will be provided.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be based in our Kilbeggan facility in Co. Westmeath, and will:<ul><li>Operate across all areas of production and operations;</li><li>Work in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines;</li><li>Be involved in the management of raw material specifications in conjunction with the site management team;</li><li>Provide analysis of production efficiency;</li><li>Be tasked with achieving targets across a number of KPI's;</li><li>Gain detailed knowledge of the meat processing business;</li><li>Work with a continuous improvement mindset in their area.</li></ul>QualificationsYour role will see you tackle a wide range of business challenges in a busy Production environment.The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate:<ul><li>Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agriculture, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.</li><li>Flexibility to work across different departments and operational areas.</li><li>Full driving licence and access to transport preferred.</li></ul>
