An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Limerick Offices for an Employee Services & Payroll Project specialist. The successful candidate will work actively on one or more phases of all identified payroll impacting projects to ensure delivery of Project charter and goals. Flexibility to support day to day payroll and HR operations to drive deeper process understanding, and support process resilience and cross training. Identify opportunities for improvement through proactive data analysis, root cause analysis process walkthroughs and stakeholder engagement. This is a permanent full time position. Responsibilities • Contributing to overall project objectives and completing individual deliverables as set out in project plan • Providing subject matter expertise and input regarding payroll processes and systems to the Project Team • Working with wider business and Project team to establish and meet business needs • Adhering to project timescales, reporting progress against project plan and escalating any potential slippage of significant project dates • Work closely with IT to ensure any legislative payroll related changes are implemented on the system and complete associated UAT • Proactively identify and follow to conclusion any system or process improvement related to the payroll process and system • Participate in any UAT relating to any payroll impacting projects to maintain integrity of the payroll system and employees pay and benefits • Maintain project documentation in line with best Project Management practise and Shared Services documentation requirements • In depth technical knowledge of the Oracle payroll system and associated systems which feed into the payroll system • Be escalation point for complex technical payroll queries • Support maintenance of data integrity by challenging incorrect data in HRIS system and work to resolve any data integrity issues. • Responsibility for requirements gathering solution design, UAT script creation and testing • Create documentation to support new element build • Responsibility for testing EBIZ annual patching requirements • Responsibility for build of payroll elements and fast formulas • Working with iT on any technical process improvements and action tracker items to improve payroll process • Provide support to and cover for day to day Payroll Operations as needed • Assist in payroll service requests, payroll processes including complex arrears calculations and payroll errors as they arise following fortnightly payroll runs. Qualifications Requirements • Minimum of 5+ years of Irish Payroll experience gained within a complex, diverse and fast paced environment • Excellent knowledge of HRIS, T&A and Payroll systems • Ability to work without supervision and on own initiative • Ability to work to strict deadlines and handle conflicting priorities • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust, rapport and credibility within the business Desirable • Business related degree and/or professional finance qualification • Project management credentials • Expertise in Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, Power Query/ BI and SharePoint • Knowledge of Irish Tax regulations and benefits • Proficiency in MS Office applications Competitive Salary and Award-Winning Pension Scheme • This is a hybrid role supporting up to 2 days remote per week • Genuine focus and support for personal and professional development
Programme Support Team Member
Position Description Programme Support National Programme Delivery are responsible for delivery of several major capital programmes as part of PR6 including upgrade and refurbishment of the MV LV Network, upgrades to the 38kV/110kV distribution substations through the ARMO programme, delivering 1/3 of housing connections and upgrades to the MV distribution programme. This work is delivered through 400+ contractors. The role of the programme support team member is to prepare, coordinate and update management and reporting documentation for the contractors together with providing clerical support to the contractor enablement team. The role also includes implementation of a range of processes that will be continuously updated to support contractor delivery. Key Responsibilities Salary €33,000 - 40,000 per annum.
