We are seeking reliable and friendly school minibus drivers to transport students to and from school for a company based in the Saggart area. The role involves morning and afternoon school runs during term time for school runs in Dublin 24, Naas and Blessington areas. Applicants must have full clean D or D1 driving licence and must have completed all modules of drivers CPC and they must be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application. Responsibilities: Safely transport children to and from school. Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with children, parents, and school staff Perform daily walk-around checks on the bus. Cork. JOB SUMMARY These three posts are located in the East Cork City’s Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT 7) based in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. The post holders will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young people, 0-18yrs and their families. The criteria for a CDNT is children with complex needs arising from a disability, where those needs require the support of an interdisciplinary disability team. This might include children with intellectual, physical, sensory disability, Autism and children at risk of or query developmental delay. These teams are under the national model of service provision “Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People” lead by the HSE. The successful candidates will be employed by the Corlann South Services (formally Brothers of Charity). Assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions are provided in the context of an interdisciplinary team. The CDNT aims to maximise the child/ young adult’s full potential and works within the context of the family and community, empowering and supporting parents/care givers and family members . The Candidate: Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc Candidates must have professional qualification as per the Department of Health guidelines See job description for full criteria. Have a university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject, AND Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology OR An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. AND Applicants must have at least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist. Years in excess of the permitted three years for completion of the post-graduate training or time not worked will not be taken into consideration when assessing the five years’ experience requirement. Driving Licenc Must have a full driving license and means of transport which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads. Age The Public Service Superannuation (Age of Retirement) Act, 2018* set 70 years as the compulsory retirement age for public servants. * Public Servants not affected by this legislation: Public servants recruited between 1 April 2004 and 31 December 2012 (new entrants) have no compulsory retirement age. Public servants recruited since 1 January 2013 are members of the Single Pension Scheme and have a compulsory retirement age of 70. 4. Location: Hyde Services (Roscommon Town, Kilteevan, Athleague, Tremane/Rahara) The Role: The Team Leader has a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services. The Team Leader will provide leadership and supervision to teams while ensuring the development of the service in line with national standards and best practice. The main responsibilities are to assist the Team Manager with the management of the services, such as – person centred planning in line with Personal Outcome Measures ethos and practice, resource management and staffing - including rosters, staff development, facilitating communication and professional leadership in order to ensure a good quality of life for the people supported. Qualifications/Experience: Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have: (I) A relevant 3rd level qualification in Nursing and current Live Register Certificate from NMBI And Working Hours: Contracted hours will be 75 hours a fortnight (CNM1 grade) rostered flexibly on a 7 day duty roster. The Team leader will work as a frontline member of the team with protected time to carry out specific team leader duties. In addition, a sleep-in and/or night duty commitment may be a requirement of posts in residential services for which the appropriate allowance will be paid. Corlann model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures quality and person centred planning system requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each person supported. Annual Leave: Leave will be granted according to the agreed leave assigned to CNM1 grade. Annual leave must be planned in advance with the Team Manager to ensure appropriate and adequate cover is provided for the service. Remuneration: Based on the salary scale attached to the grade of CNM1 (pro-rata for part-time). Salary quoted is based on a 39 hour working week.
