There are currently two permanent whole-time vacancies available with a regional focus on Social Inclusion services for the HSE South West Region. The base of work will be agreed with the person on appointment, but one post will have a substantive base in Cork city and one in Kerry. Appointees will take the lead responsibility for a geographical area and may also take a lead on youth or adult service provision for the region, depending on clinical expertise. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Psychology Services in the HSE South West Region from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Purpose of the Post: The overall purpose of these posts is to assist the Regional Director of Psychology in the clinical governance of psychological services and to contribute to and support the development of the social inclusion service in line with divisional operational plans. The Principal Psychologist Specialist (Social Inclusion) will provide operational governance, line-management and supervision as required for staff in the designated area or responsibility, in addition to carrying a clinical caseload. The post-holder will also support the Regional Director of Psychology with designated departmental organisational tasks and projects relevant to the development of Social Inclusion psychology services, offering leadership to more junior staff as required. Post Specific Requirements / Experience: Applicants must: Demonstrate depth and breadth of achievement in the development of high-quality, integrated, accountable and efficient Psychology services as relevant to the role. And Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the provision of assessment, formulation, intervention, evaluation, reporting and supervision with a broad range of clinical problems in terms of complexity and severity seen within the care group area as relevant to the role. Spa Assistant / Lifeguard
SPA ASSISTANT / LIFEGUARD - TRAINEE / QUALIFIED | €15.01 per hour As an Aqua Sana Spa Assistant, you will provide a safe, clean and luxurious environment for our guests. You will be responsible for engaging with our guests and exceeding their expectations by providing excellent service. Lifeguard duties and maintaining the relaxing ambience of the spa will be a priority. Sustaining excellent standards of the spa through general maintenance and stringent cleaning procedures is a daily requirement of this role. Trainee candidates will be required to attend an NPLQ course, and an offer of employment will be subject to passing the course and a successful interview. Please note that the course will be full-time hours for 5 days and include classroom sessions on the responsibilities of being a Lifeguard, how to observe our pool guests, how to rescue those in need and how to administer first aid and CPR. Locum Community Facilitator roles are also available. Location: Hyde Adult Services (Roscommon Town, Kilteevan, Athleague, Tremane/Rahara and Kilkerrin). Staff allocation could be either within day/residential/respite settings or in community services. The appointee will initially commence working in one particular area of the Hyde services and this work location may change due to future service needs. The Role: The Community Facilitator will be involved in the development and implementation of the educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development goals for people supported in the service. The successful candidate will fulfil a key worker role for people supported and will work to develop active roles and increase participation in local communities. Qualifications / Experience: Normal working hours are Monday – Friday in day services. However, weekend work may be required to meet the needs of the people supported on occasion. Contracted hours of work are liable to change from 8am to 8pm over 7 days to meet the requirements of the service. The Brothers of Charity Services model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures quality and person centred planning system requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each person supported. Annual Leave: 22 days per annum (pro-rata for part-time), i.e. 8.46 hours per 100 hours worked.
