AND Hold professional registration or be eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registrations Board at CORU. Where registration has not yet been received from CORU, applicants must demonstrate evidence of application. Contract of employment will only be issued on receipt of Coru Registration. Essential Requirements: Annual Registration (i) On appointment, practitioners must have obtained registration on CORU’s Social Care Workers Register and maintain registration annually. CORLANN –WEST REGION PERMANENT FULL-TIME TEAM LEADER (Social Care Leader Grade) CRUACHAN SERVICES (Strokestown, Elphin, Tulsk, Ballinagare & Ballaghaderreen areas) Job Ref: 105386 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Team Leader Appointments for Cruachan Adult services may be made over the next 6/12 months. Location: Cruachan Adult Services (Strokestown, Elphin, Tulsk, Ballinagare & Ballaghaderreen areas). The Role: The Team Leader has a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services. The Team Leader will provide leadership and supervision to teams while ensuring the development of the service in line with national standards and best practice. The main responsibilities are to assist the Team Manager with the management of the services, such as – person centred planning in line with Personal Outcome Measures ethos and practice, resource management and staffing - including rosters, staff development, facilitating communication and professional leadership in order to ensure a good quality of life for the people supported. Qualifications/Experience: Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have: Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU Or Be eligible under the Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU (evidence of application status is necessary). And Working Hours: 2 X Permanent Full Time - Contracted hours will be 78 hours a fortnight rostered flexibly on a 7 day duty roster.
