Previous over-the-counter medicine or pharmacy sales experience is highly desirable but not essential. Applicants must have at least 1 year's experience in a retail sales role. The ASI is currently recruiting a Care Worker who will work in our Tipperary Day Care at Home Service . The successful candidate will work in assigned family homes in Nenagh and the surrounding areas . This is a permanent contract working 20 hours per week . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred care to people with dementia in the client's own home. You will need good communication and organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative. To be successful in this position, it is essential that you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activities with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. Candidates in this area must have a full clean driving licence and access to a car to be considered for this role. A FETAC Level 5 qualification is desirable. Confidence in using IT and email is also desirable. We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with the care sector and dependent on relevant experience.
