Support Worker
Part Time - Support Worker Location: Riverside Place, 191-193 Donaghadee Road, Bangor, Co Down BT20 4RY Salary: £12,231.83 per annum (£12.715 per hour) Contract: Permanent Work hours: 18.5 hours per week, rota based. Including days, evenings and weekends. Please note we do not offer sponsorship for this role. Your new role As a Support worker you will ensure that you listen to the needs and feelings of the young person to enable you to facilitate any necessary help that they need, including interventions and signposting them to other support services to give them every opportunity to get the help that they need and deserve. You will assist the young people to cope with significant changes associated with adulthood, encourage them to make their own decisions and educate them on general life activities in terms of health, hygiene, finance, housing, etc. You will work as part of a team to maintain tidiness, cleanliness and hygiene standards in all communal areas ensuring all health and safety requirements are met. Digital Innovation And Regeneration Officer
** Please read the Digital Innovation and Regeneration Officer Candidate Information before completing your application ** Job Summary The Digital Innovation and Regeneration Officer will support the development, implementation and delivery of a range of strategic digital innovation projects such the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund (DTFF), digital initiatives taken forward through City and Growth Deals, and other relevant digital regeneration projects with Council (externally focused). Duration of Appointment Post 1: Permanent. Post 2: Temporary funded post until 31.12.2026 (which may be extended). Reserve List Whilst the Council are recruiting for two Digital Innovation and Regeneration Officers as outlined above, please note that a reserve list will be compiled for future permanent, temporary, full time and part time posts for Digital Innovation and Regeneration Officer positions at Council Offices in both Downpatrick and Warrenpoint Town Hall for a period of 12 months. Work Pattern 36hrs Monday – Friday. All posts are eligible to participate in the Flexi Scheme. Post holders must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant. Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice. Location Downpatrick or Warrenpoint Town Hall. Salary PO2, spinal point 31-34, £41,771- £45,091 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked). Plus 19% employer pension contribution. It is Council policy to appoint at minimum salary scale point.

Dispenser/Trainee Dispenser
We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Part Time Dispenser/Trainee Dispenser to work in our Portavogie branch. Working 8 hours per week, between the hours of 10.00am to 2.00pm Monday and Thursday according to the rota. Additional hours may be required from time to time and applicants must be fully flexible to work according to the rota. Working as part of a team duties can include; sales of over the counter medicines, providing customers with information on symptoms and products, prescription receipt and collection, date checking, and the ordering, receiving and storing of pharmaceutical stock.
