Details of Service The Disability team are part of the social care pillar and are responsible for the provision of HSE funded services to individuals with a disability living in Dublin South, Kildare & West Wicklow. The Day Opportunities team, led by the Day Opportunities Coordinator, is responsible for the provision and oversight of Rehabilitation Training and Day Service to adults with disabilities that reside in CHO 7. The team consists of Occupational Guidance/ Day Opportunities Officers and the Interim Standards Project Manager. Occupational Guidance/ Day Opportunities Officers provide people with Disabilities with the appropriate guidance, support and direction concerning Rehabilitative Training and Day Service options that best suits their needs. The aim is to equip clients with personal, social and work-related skills that will enable them to progress to greater levels of independence and integration into the community. The Finance and Information Managerwill be responsible for the strategic integration of business management processes including service development, Service arrangements and funding associated with HSE funded Adult Day Services.

Details of Service The Role: As the largest service provider in the country for individuals with substance misuse problems we aim to provide a comprehensive response to the problems faced by Communities, Families and Individuals coping with drug and alcohol related problems. There are 3 Addiction Clinics in HSE Dublin & Midlands CHO 6 & HSE Dublin & Southeast. We aim to achieve this by, providing access to quality, evidence-based treatment interventions for individuals and families presenting with substance misuse difficulties. We have active audit and care plan developments. Our nursing Team comprises of: · CNMIII · DON · 2 CNM II’s · 2 Drug Liaison Midwives, Coombe and Holles Street Hospital · Hep C Liaison nurse · 1 CNS / 1 ANP in our young person’s substance misuse. Links with NMPDU provides support and funding for continuous professional development. · Approx. 5 RGN · Student Mental Health Nurses on placement Nurses work collaboratively with other areas in the HSE including Mental Health Services and Primary Care Services to improve wellbeing and outcomes for all individuals attending our service. Research is a fundamental element for enhancing our understanding of the problems of substance misuse and we aim to continue these endeavours in a multidisciplinary fashion. To be involved at a National level in terms of policy development and training and to disseminate best practice models as refined in our area to inform statutory, community and voluntary services across the country.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Details of Service The person appointed to this post will work within the Integrated Services Directorate; working as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care. The Public Dental Service provides oral health care for patients eligible for dental services which the Health Services Executive is, or may be, under obligation to provide. A preventative evidence based approach is the fundamental and distinctive character of the public dental service. A dental service is also provided for patients admitted to any institution maintained by the HSE and for those children in the care of the H.S.E. If required an emergency dental service is also provided. Future developments for the service will include enhanced care for Special Needs Groups and Preventative programs. The team structure involves assisting the Principal Dental Surgeon in the general guidance of Clinical Dental Surgeons, Grade 1 and the direct supervision as required of any existing auxiliary dental staff. The service is provided within the Primary Community and Continuing Care Area.
