We are looking for Special Needs Assistants who are enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and responsive to the needs of the children coupled with a willingness to learn and an interest and passion in educating our children with a diagnosis of autism and complex needs. An Cosán Community Special School Dublin 7 is a new vibrant school with expanding student numbers and opportunities for both personal and professional learning and growth. The successful candidate(s) will need to be flexible, self-motivated and be able to display understanding and initiative in the area of special needs support. Applicants must have a minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 in special needs, or similar. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a team, display strong work ethic and demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills. A panel may be formed from which permanent, fixed term and specific purpose roles may be filled during the 2026 / 2027 academic session. Senior Dietitian, Cardio Respiratory Specialities
There are over 40 dietitians at the Mater Hospital. The dietitians work with inpatients and outpatients across all the Mater specialties including the National Centre for Cardiothoracic Surgery and Heart and Lung Transplantation, National Centre for Spinal Injuries, Adult National Inherited Metabolic Disorders (IMD) and the National Centre for HIPEC surgery as well as being a Cancer Centre. This Senior Dietitian post in collaboration with the Clinical Specialist dietitian and other dietitians in the cardio respiratory team and MDT will provide high quality nutritional care to patients across a number of wards as well as to patients attending national specialties in the cardio resp service and post transplant CF. We use NCP assessment and diagnosis steps in our work, and include physical assessment. This is an opportunity to join a busy department, and to progress your clinical expertise and career by working in a supportive learning environment. Working roster for this post will be agreed upon appointment. Flexibility will be given to the appointed candidate when confirming their working roster.
