Purpose of the Post The Clinical Engineering Technician, Principal, will provide Clinical Engineering and Technical support to all hospital medical devices including diagnostic, analytical, therapeutic, surgical, renal dialysis and life support systems in University Limerick Hospital Group as directed by the Reporting Relationship. The holder of this post will not be under detailed day to day supervision and will be expected to exercise initiative in the performance of his/her duties The post holder may have a lead role responsibility for a particular speciality or specialities.
