The Catering Manager will lead and support a Catering Team in order to optimise the quality of food service and delivery to patients and staff, according to best practice, food safety regulations and within HSE Policies, Procedures, Guidelines and Legislation. The Catering Manager will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing positively to the development and implementation of Organisational Strategies and Policies, particularly advising on catering issues to ensure the Hospital meets the standards set out by the HSE or any other Accrediting Bodies. The Catering Manager will be the nominated person to engage with the Environmental Health Officer in conjunction with the Quality & Patient Safety Department.
