The business model at Rathsallagh House is primarily event and private party driven. Accordingly the hours are not those normally associated with Restaurant or Hotel kitchens where the days can be unpredictable and long and you are not getting home until midnight. Our Executive Head Chef can plan his rosters weeks in advice sure in the knowledge of exactly what lies ahead. There are no split shifts here and we close for Christmas. The Restaurant at Rathsallagh is open in the evenings to the public on average 25 to 35 days a year. We also open to the public for Sunday Lunch on average twice a month. These openings are strictly by reservation only and numbers are restricted. The idea being that we want a stress free and relaxed kitchen with no unpleasant surprises. So if you are tired of that commute to Dublin, if you have had enough of late nights and unpredictable demands on your talents and would like to work in an exciting and relaxed kitchen in the county side, less then 50 minutes from Dublin airport , then please do get in touch . Adult Educator Appointments (FE) 2025-2026 City of Dublin Education and Training Board (City of Dublin ETB) was established on 1st July 2013 under the Education and Training Boards Act, 2013. City of Dublin ETB has 3,000 employees and an annual budget of €580m. It is the state education and training authority for Dublin city and serves the area covered by Dublin City Council. This provision is delivered to over 48,000 learners (20,000 full-time and 28,000 part-time) and is supported by a range of services including a psychological service, a curriculum development unit, a buildings maintenance unit and Head Office staff in Ballsbridge. It also has statutory responsibility for supporting the provision, coordination, administration and assessment of youth work services in Dublin city and is the lead partner for Music Generation Dublin City. City of Dublin ETB is also responsible for the national awarding authority for student grants in Ireland, Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI). Undertake cleaning duties and deep cleaning duties on a rotational basis Deal immediately with incidents, and where necessary call 999 for emergency services (gardai or ambulance or fire services) or back up. Report immediately to the manager on call. Be vigilant to the possibility, that we may have trespassers or other untoward behaviour on the grounds at times, and in such a case, note the time of the intrusion, and call Gardai. Where possible note all numbers of any strange vehicles in the communication/handover book. Report all use of fire equipment, fire alarms going off, electricity or fire outage, and report to management. Assist in the induction of new staff at the manager’s request.
