Donabate Children’s respite house is a community respite House based in Donabate, providing support to over 45 children. No more then six children are supported during their breaks to engage in meaningful community based activities. Our Children’s Respite service is staffed by a team of Nurses , Social Care Workers and Direct support workers and is led by a CNM2 who is the Person in Charge (PIC) Key duties associated with the role: To ensure the physical and social development of children and young people is supported and nurtured in a caring environment that promotes their overall health and wellbeing. · Support each person to effectively communicate and to ensure they make informed decisions, exercise choice, control and autonomy in their life.
