Details of Service Dublin South Central Service combines the former Dublin South City Service, Dublin West South West Mental Health Service and part of the Linn Dara Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services into a new extended catchment area. The service operates a range of Community Mental Health services, as well as acute adult inpatient beds provision in both St James’s Hospital & Tallaght Hospital. Dublin South Central Mental Health Service combines the former Dublin South City Service, Dublin West / South West Mental Health Service and part of the Linn Dara Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services into a new extended catchment area. The service operates a range of community mental health services including acute adult inpatient beds provision in both St James’s Hospital & Tallaght University Hospital. The mission of Dublin South Central Mental Health Service is to provide a specialised and comprehensive mental health service to people and their families living in the specific area. The service appreciates the strengths and individuality of service users and their families and aim to actively involve them in all aspects of care delivery. The focus of clinical practice - informed by the key principles of respect, inclusivity, compassion and advocacy - is to work with people and their supportive communities in achieving and maintaining positive mental health and physical health.
