Job Purpose: The Mater Hospital is currently recruiting for a permanent part time Grade V Health Records Line Manager. The post holder will line manage and co-ordinate the function of the Health Records Reception and Health Record offsite storage recall and returns in addition to the co-ordination of records returning from Clontarf Hospital and Fairview Wards. The post holder will oversee the accuracy, and security of patient health record information, manage staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and provide leadership for the health records department. The post holder will provide regular reports and statistical analysis as required. They will also support a variety of projects within the Health Records Department. They must have detailed knowledge of Health Records Management and an ability to effectively impart this knowledge to others.
