The purpose of a Specialist Palliative Care Nurse is to provide expert care for patients with complex, life-limiting illnesses, focusing on advanced symptom management and improving quality of life. In this role, the nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to offer holistic care, guides patients and families in end-of-life planning, and ensures seamless care transitions.
