BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES –WEST REGION POSTS: STAFF NURSE/*ENHANCED NURSE ROSCOMMON/ATHLONE ADULT SERVICES (Roscommon Town,Athlone, Kilteevan) Ref: 82091 A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Locum roles are also available. Location: Athlone/Roscommon Adult Services (Athlone, Kilteevan, Roscommon Town Areas). Staff allocation could be either within residential/respite/day settings or in community services or in an individual’s own home. The appointee will initially commence working in one particular area of the Athlone/Roscommon Adult services and this work location may change due to future service needs. Working With: People supported and their families/Team Leader/Multidisciplinary staff/Service Management. Qualifications: Candidates must have - All posts are based on a 14-day duty roster. The successful candidate will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers and night duty to meet service needs. Annual Leave: 24 days pro rata per annum (pro-rata for part-time). Appropriate service related leave will be granted after 5 and 10 years’ service respectively. Remuneration: Department of Health salary scales as at 01/03/2025 apply: Staff Nurse - €36,919 x 12 increments - €53, 340 per annum (pro-rata for part-time). Long Service Increment €54, 928 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) is granted after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. *Enhanced Nurse – € 43,872 x 7 increments - €55, 093 per annum (pro-rata for part-time). BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES IRELAND – WEST REGION 1 X Permanent Part Time Senior Community Facilitator Strokestown Adult Services – Cruachan Services (Tulsk, Strokestown, Elphin and Ballinagare Area) JOB REF: 82097 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Senior Community Facilitator Appointments within the Strokestown and Roscommon Town Services will be made over the next 6 months. Location: Assignment to Cruachan Services, initially based in the Strokestown/Tulsk area. Future developments within the services may require that you are prepared to transfer to other work locations as the service needs demand. The Role: This is a direct support/front line role providing support to an individual with Intellectual Disability, Autism and Complex Behaviours. The successful candidate will take a lead role with the implementation of the Behaviour Support Plan and leading the team to deliver a quality-based service. This will involve supporting the Individual during behaviours of distress. This role includes working as a key worker to support and advocate for the individual supported by the service. The role is to support the person in all aspects of their life focusing on the individual’s ability while promoting independence and development of skills. The role will assist and support the individual, with the development of their person centred plan, the achievement of associated outcomes, to live a meaningful life and fulfil their potential.
