PURPOSE AND FUNCTION OF THE POST: The Caretaker/Cleaner is responsible to the Customer Services Manager for providing a number of functions in relation to the management and cleaning of the Council Offices. JOB DESCRIPTION EXPERIENCE · Previous cleaning experience · Experience in key holding, opening, closing, and securing work premises · Record keeping KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES · Good interpersonal skills · Good communication skills · Ability to use own initiative · Flexible and adaptable OTHER REQUIREMENTS · Applicants must be available to work outside normal hours including evenings and weekends and attend to meetings at the Council outside of normal working hours as necessary · Applicants must be flexible and will work across both Church Street and City Hall as required · Applicants should have sufficient mobility to meet the nature and requirements of the post
