Class 1 Truck Driver

Fixed Term Contract - 9 months We're looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver to tempoary join our Distribution team in our Bulmers Donegal Depot to perform several multi-drop deliveries to our customers, paid at €17 per hour with €10 shift lunch allowance. About the role You'll be responsible for delivering our products to our customers daily on a multi drop delivery model. You'll be flexible & work to accommodate customers delivery requirements, get involved in yard work supporting the depot team during quieter periods, ensure all invoicing & EPOD transactions are correct with delivery schedule, and complete vehicle pre use checks, ensuring that all documents are accurately completed. About you You'll need a full clean Class 1 Licence, a consistent positive “can do” attitude and a proactive approach to delivering our promise to our customers. A national non-profit organisation, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is person centred, rights-based and grassroots led with the voice of the person with dementia and their carer at its core. The ASI is currently recruiting for a Care Worker who will work for our Donegal Homecare Services with offices based in Dunfril House, Unit 4/5, Chestnut Road, Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, F93 PY9. The successful candidates will work in assigned family homes across Letterkenny and surrounding areas. This is a permanent contract of employment working 18 hours per week. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia in the client’s own home. You will need good communication and organizational skills and be able to work on your own initiative. To be successful in this position it is essential you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activates with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. Full clean driving license and access to a car essential. A FETAC level 5 is desirable. Confidence in using IT/Email is also desirable.
