The Maintenance / General Operative will support in all aspects of facilities management within the home. They will also have responsibility for ensuring that the upkeep of all areas of the home and grounds are maintained to a very high standard. Please note:  this is a specific purpose cover contract . This is a part time role, up to  24 hours weekly  with working days on  Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8hrs daily , however the candidate needs to be flexible to attend  on call and emergency  matters also. The Maintenance / General Operative will have relevant experience working “hands on” within the facilities sector. The role requires the holder to be continuously vigilant towards the dignity, comfort and safety of residents in the nursing home.
