We are located just outside the village of Dunlavin about 10km from Jct 3 on the M9. So if you are tied of the long commute Rathsallagh is an ideal choice. The business here is 90% event driven, it’s a 3 to 4 day week January to May then 4 to 5 May to end of September etc. Working days are predominantly Thursdays to Sundays inclusive. With the team here weekends off are easily arranged. Hours are typically 3pm or 4pm to finish busiest days of the week Thursday Friday and Saturday. We are closed for Christmas 22nd to 27th December inclusive . This position would suite a candidate that wants to work in a stress free environment, with regular hours and a foreknowledge of catering requirements such that rosters can be planned months in advance. The number of working days can be selected by the candidate if required in that we are happy to secure only 2 or 3 days a week from a candidate leaving him or her free to pursue other interests / business opportunities at the same time. Facilities Supervisor
MAIN DUTIES · Prioritise routine and urgent maintenance tasks in line with business requirements. · Use the in-house CAFM Halo system to plan, manage and complete reactive, corrective and preventative maintenance tasks. · Schedule and allocate team tasks effectively to support the efficient delivery of Facilities services. · Undertake procurement activities to support the needs of the Facilities team, ensuring all purchases are made in line with established financial procedures. · Assist with the on-site supervision of external contractors, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures. · Supervise the Facilities Team to ensure all tasks are completed safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements. · Maintain effective stock control for the Facilities department. All OTC staff are expected to: · Maintain excellent working relationships with other staff and volunteers. · Ensure the delivery of BEET to all our customers and be committed to the Odyssey ethos and objectives. · Be committed to and work in accordance with our Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Equality and other established policies and procedures. · Be flexible undertake such other duties that may be required including working evenings, weekends and public holidays, if required. SELECTION CRITERIA Minimum Essential Criteria · Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Facilities Management industry, with at least 3 years within a supervisory role. · Proven ability to supervise a team. · Good working knowledge of Health & Safety practices. · Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors & customers. · Ability to work on your own initiative and to work accurately under pressure. · Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite. · Experience in using CAFM and CMMS software. The successful candidate will also be involved in the implementation of an educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development programme for adults with an intellectual disability. In line with new directions and extended opening hours the successful candidates will also be responsible for providing family support, coordinating social groups and evening activities and providing one to one supports in the community as required. The successful candidates will also have responsibility in a key worker role for the people supported by the services to form links and interests and partnerships with other community groups. This role will involve working with adults with Autism and complex needs. The instructor will be responsible in supporting individuals with all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes support with meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being, to the extent required by the individual.
