SUPPORT WORKERS Ref: 91600 (05/2026) Permanent Relief hours up to 78 hours per fortnight Sector 1 & 2 Residential Services (Adults) Locations: Cork Adult Services (Lota / Glanmire / Douglas / Little Island / Fermoy/Ballinhassig) The Role Support Workers provide a key role for individuals in Service. This role is to support the person with activities of daily living. Includes supporting individuals with their meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being, to the extent required by the individual. Support people to achieve their goals in their Person Centred Plan. To support People who use the Service in participating in the ordinary everyday life of the community through inclusive and creative thinking. The Candidate The successful candidates must It is essential that all candidates have adequate immunity against Hepatitis B as per Immunisation Guidelines for Ireland 2008 Reporting to: Social Care Leader or Day Service Manager in the community and residential setting and through the Line Manager structure to the Area Manager. Salary Scale: €34,036 - €47,454 including 1 LSI per annum (1/8/25 Department of Health Consolidated Scales). Customer & Security Service Agent
LOCATION - Shannon Airport POSITION - Aviation Security Agent REPORTING TO - Supervisor / Line Manager HOURS OF WORK - As required for proper performance of duties RATE OF PAY - €15.38 per hour plus night allowance and Sunday premium We are currently recruiting security staff for several security airport departments. Vacancies exist within the following teams, Aviation Services, Checkpoint Operation & Hold Baggage Screening operation at Shannon Airport. All relevant training will be provided to the successful candidate. KEY TASK AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES To be an ambassador for the company Provide a high level of Customer Service while interacting with airlines, ground handling agents and passengers Work as part of a team Working in and around Passenger aircraft (outdoors) Performing aircraft interior and exterior searches; physical search of seats, overheads and toilets. Screening of passengers and cabin baggage items using x-ray technology, ETD sampling and conducting hand searches Screening of hold baggage items using advanced x-ray technology, ETD sampling and conducting hand searches of selected baggage.
