Shift Craft Electrical Technician

At C&D Foods Edgeworthstown we have a requirement for a Craft Technician (Electrical) working on Shift (12Hhr Continental Shift Pattern) within our Engineering Department. Shift Pattern The shifts are 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. The shift cycle would be as follows: Week 1 – In Monday and Tuesday, Off Wednesday, and Thursday and In Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Week 2- Off Monday and Tuesday, In Wednesday and Thursday and Off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Telemetry Maintenance Technician
Grade and Salary E: €49,252 - €73,877 per year The Role: The Asset Operations functions form the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operational Control Function has responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing the activities of key technical teams and infrastructure, which provide expertise and excellence on a national basis in collaboration with, and complementary to, the Regional and Local delivery of routine front-line water and wastewater services. The Integrated Operations team monitor the performance of the operating environment, ensuring risks to service continuity are identified and managed and that the Customer first approach is at the forefront of Asset Operations activities. This will include the performance of the asset base, optimising production and managing network integrity during interventions. The Telemetry Maintenance Technician will report to the Telemetry Maintenance Lead. The Telemetry Maintenance Technician has a national remit and is responsible for supporting the delivery of a customer focused service providing day to day developmental, technical and operational support to the National Operations Management Centre team and the users of the Uisce Éireann Telemetry system. This involves the review of site signal listings, configuration, monitoring end to end testing and resolving problems (nuisance alarming, incorrect configuration etc.), the raising of work orders and stakeholder management where appropriate. The Workflow Functional Area is responsible for the management and monitoring of all outdoor work through the full work order lifecycle from planning to closure. This includes overseeing the initiation, dispatch and progression of work orders, processing of service requests, allocating adequate resources, identification of bundling opportunities, identification of work pre-requisites, creation of work orders to be progressed and dispatched to the field , the management of the logistics and stores to enable effective and efficient inventory control, Outage notification & processing and complaint resolution. The Scheduling & Dispatch sub-area is responsible for the managing and co-ordination of scheduling, resource management and work dispatch to fulfil work completion and dispatch of work to field resources. The Scheduling and Dispatcher Coordinator is responsible for producing the schedule of activities for operations, maintenance, Capital and repair work from the scheduling tool to optimise workload, meet work priorities and resourcing constraints. This includes managing the exceptions which are not automatically planned by the advanced scheduling tool to mitigate any risk, manually scheduling as required.
