CORLANN Senior Community Facilitator/Day Service Coordinator Permanent Full Time Contract Location: Limerick City & County The person appointed to this post will be responsible for the day to day management of Day Services for Adults with Intellectual Disability in Limerick City in line with HIQA Regulation. The requirement of the post is to maintain and further develop a personalised range of supports which will meet the current and emerging needs of people who avail of the services. Essential · Possess a relevant Level 7 third level qualification, at minimum, with registration with regulator as appropriate. · Minimum 3 years’ experience working with people with an Intellectual Disability Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Have a strong working knowledge of New Directions Standards · Demonstrate the ability to manage and supervise staff · Have an understanding of and commitment to Personal Lifestyle Planning. · Be proactive and have the ability to work as part of a team. · Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. · Excellent IT, administration, report writing and organisational skills. · Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle · Be able to work evenings and weekend shifts. · Be prepared to be on call as required Desirable · A relevant qualification at minimum Level 6 in People Management · Management experience while not essential is desirable Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Monday, 2nd November 2026 Short listing of applications may apply Canvassing will disqualify Panels may be formed as a result of the interview process. Further information and Informal enquiries to: Dr Izhar Ahmed, Associate Clinical Director Email: acd@stjohnshospital.ie St John’s Hospital, HSE Midwest, is inviting applicants to apply for a permanent consultant geriatrician and GIM post in the Department of Medicine, St John’s Hospital to deliver high quality care for older patients. Applicants will be expected to have suitable experience in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine (GIM) and to have specialist registration in Geriatrics & GIM with the Irish Medical Council. On call is 1 in 6. There is also a commitment to teaching and educationally supervising medical students and NCHDs. This role will be predominantly focused on delivering an inpatient & outpatient services to older adults presenting with frailty in line with the National Clinical Programme for Older People and Integrated Care Programme for Older People guidance. The role will also include participating in rostered consultant supervision to on-site medical Assessment Unit which sees a large number of older patients requiring comprehensive assessment. Clinical supervision and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level will also be an important aspect of this role. The appointee will also work closely and in partnership with Acute Medicine colleagues as well as the wider multidisciplinary team. Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 Section 18C. (3)(b) of the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021, provides that the National Plan for Irish Language Public Services shall include the objective: "that, by 31 December 2030, at least 20 per cent of persons recruited to public bodies shall be competent in the Irish language."
