OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE: The BDM will be responsible for sales and market development of Almac Diagnostic Services’ portfolio within the Pharma & Biotech sectors. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The post holder will: Grow Almac Diagnostic Services' base of business within the Pharma and Biotech market sector by promoting and selling Almac’s biomarker services, including the management of and expansion within existing key accounts, and through prospecting for new clients. Key account management of existing and new accounts, ensuring Almac’s services are delivered satisfactorily and to maximise visibility for the identification of new leads and qualification of new opportunities. The successful candidate will learn the key skills of an international commercial business and maintaining the accuracy of internal reporting. Day To Day Will Involve: Assist with the month end close and management accounts preparation. Bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, follow up of review points, ad-hoc journal preparation and input, intercompany reconciliations, fixed asset accounting inc. assets under construction, hire purchase accounting, accounting for loans, foreign exchange. The relief workers will be required to assist our children and young people in their day-to-day life, including getting ready for school/college/day service, activities of daily living, meal preparation, social activities. andnight time sleep overs. The relief support panel is a designed to fill vacancies due to staff absence but members of the panel will never work alone or unsupported by a permanent, experienced, staff member. Applicants should hold or be working towards a Level 6/7 or above degree, in a relevant subject area. Some experience working with people with a Multiple disbailities and/or visual impairment would be desirable, but not necessary, as induction and trainning will be provided.
