Key Accountabilities: · Manage and Monitor Own brand specifications liaising directly with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate completion of specification templates online or on paper. · Create and review product specification for Sysco own brand products providing responses and direction to internal and external stakeholders. · Validation of published specifications / packs to ensure meeting all regulatory and Sysco requirements. · Issue regular reports and updates on supplier compliance with specification portals. · Key member of artwork and legal label approval team. · Assist in product review for Sysco branded products to assess their suitability relative to Sysco requirements for product food safety and quality. · Carry out product and process inspections and assessments including internal audits. · Assist technical team in day-to-day duties. · Member of food safety and VACCP team. · Ensure records are maintained in accordance with corporate and auditing standards. · Report to Quality management on food safety, quality and compliance issues. · Point of contact for commercial teams regarding supplier and product on-boarding food safety and quality queries.
